The season began on March 2, 2019 with the new temporary exhibition dedicated to frescoes by Delvaux for the house of Gilbert Périer.
The PAUL DELVAUX MUSEUM in St. Idesbald presents the largest collection of the artist's work in the world in a space of over 1 000 m2. It gives you the chance to discover all aspects of this internationally renowned artist's work, comprising paintings, watercolours, drawings and sketchbooks. You will be plunged into the heart of a universe full of poetry, where you will find the women and skeletons, the neoclassical architecture and trains that contribute to the waking dream of this globally appreciated artist.
As well as the permanent collection, the presentation of which is frequently updated, the museum also hosts original temporary exhibitionsevery year, offering new perspectives on Delvaux's complex and varied art.
The museum is open from 10.30 to 17.30.

A MAJOR PAINTING by PAUL DELVAUX joins the collection of the Paul Delvaux Foundation.
